How much does exterior painting cost in Plano?
Exterior pricing depends on the size and height of the home, the siding or brick type, how much wood repair is needed, the number of colors, and how much trim detail there is.

How often should a house exterior be repainted in Texas?
It depends on the surface, sun exposure and how well the last job was prepped. Many North Texas homes need repainting roughly every 5 to 10 years, and south- and west-facing trim often fades first. Chalky or faded paint, peeling, cracked caulk and bare wood are signs it’s time.
Do you pressure wash before painting?
Yes. Paint won’t bond to dirt, mildew or chalky old paint, so every exterior is washed and allowed to dry fully before we prime or paint.
What if you find rotted wood?
Rot we can see at the walkthrough is included in your quote. If more turns up once scraping starts, we show you photos and agree on the price before replacing it — we never paint over soft wood.
Can you paint brick?
Yes, and it’s one of the highest-impact exterior changes in DFW. It’s also effectively permanent, so we talk it through with you before you commit and use breathable masonry coatings that let moisture escape. Our guide on choosing the right exterior paint for brick explains why that matters.
Do you supply the paint, and can you help with colors?
Yes. We supply exterior-grade paint and list the product in your quote. Bring your own colors or we’ll help you choose. If you’re in an HOA, check whether exterior colors need approval before we schedule.
What about the weather?
Texas heat and humidity both affect how paint cures. We schedule exterior work around temperature and rain, and we would rather move a day than put product on a surface that will not hold it.
